Iowa City • Coralville Hockey

The University of Iowa Hawkeye Hockey,  Iowa City-Coralville Hockey (ICH) and the Iowa City-Coraville Sports Authority are teaming up to host the 1st Annual Hawkeyes Hockey/ICH Youth Showcase.

Tournament to be held December 19-21, 2008 at the Coral Ridge Ice Arena. The tournament will host eight Mite hockey teams (ages 7-8) from around the Mid-West in a fast paced & fun competition to help promote our local youth hockey program and continue to generate interest for the game of hockey in the Eastern Iowa area. All proceeds will benefit the ICH Youth Hockey Programs.

Tournament Format:

• (8) Mite B & C Level Teams
• Each team is guaranteed 3 games
• Games played with regular USA hockey Youth Rules
•  Two referees per game

Team Fees & Registration:

• Tournament cost will be $600 per team
• Included: 3 games, meal coupons, tournament appreciation bag, and medal/trophy for all participants.
